Wall Together Now Craig Downs & Candice Fulton

Craig Downs has been a professional working artist in St. Louis, Missouri, for thirty years. A painter and muralist, his art graces homes, businesses and buildings throughout his home city and internationally. His paintings hang in Australia, Italy, France, Canada, all around the United States and in Mexico. He is sought after as a muralist in the U.S. and in Mexico, where he lived part time for five years in the village of San Pancho, just north of Sayulita. He has brought his art to the schools and has been the coordinator of innumerable art shows and cooperative art festivals. He and his life partner Candice have recently bought a home on seven acres in Dallas, Oregon, in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley. His canvases and style are being joyfully received by Northwesterners, who were instantly captivated by his art shows and commissioned paintings. Craig and Candice's Paint by Numbers projects are on display in Dallas, Oregon, in St. Louis and in San Pancho.

Candice Fulton has been teaching art in the United States and Mexico since 1992. Her workshops in Mexican villages engendered a deep fondness for the country, where she found ample opportunity to share her love of art and teaching in exuberant classes with the local children and adults. She designed and built her home in San Pancho, where she lived for eleven years. Their new home in Oregon has brought her back to her Northwest roots. She is a writer, photographer, artist, designer, and Certified Personal Coach with extensive experience coordinating projects both large and small. She is a veteran fundraiser for non-profits and was fundraising chair for Pacific Northwest Writers Conference in her past life.
What Happened When These Two People Met

It was a case of spontaneous combustion. We immediately began adding color to the world. Our first project together, three weeks after we met, was the Paint by Number project in San Pancho's soccer field.
Since that time, we have created more murals, made art with the people of San Pancho, put on shows of Craig's art and Candice's photography in the U.S. and Mexico. We also wrote a book together and owned and operated La Casita Mágica, a popular art gallery featuring our work and the works of other artists from Mexico, Argentina, the United States, and Canada.
Our decision to relocate to the Pacific Northwest was influenced significantly by our desire to more easily bring our Paint by Number projects to communities, corporations, and non-profits.
Wall Together Now was born from our passion for the magic of collaborative art.
Our experience has proven to us that working together artistically breaks artificial barriers, opening the possibility for new and quality relationships among people both diverse and like-minded.
